Schulprojekt ViewPoint Pokhara Nepal e.V.

With our support we wish to provide children in need with schooling and education.
Thus we founded the donation “Schulprojekt View Point Pokhara Nepal e.V.” during a trip through Nepal in 2008.

In particular, we support the View Point Boarding School in Tutunga near Pokhara, a town with approximately 313.000 inhabitants, situated in the centre of Nepal, in the west of Kathmandu.

As is well known, Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world.

In numbers, this means:

• The illiteracy rate is about 50 %.
• 80 % of people with employment work in the agricultural sector.
• Child mortality rate is 10%.
• Many children are forced to beg or do child labour.
• Approximately 20.000 girls are sold to India to work as prostitutes every year.

We can all help quickly and effectively with a donation or membership fee, which of course is tax-deductible.
