With our support we wish to provide children in need with schooling and education.

Thus we founded the donation “Schulprojekt View Point Pokhara Nepal e.V.” during a trip through Nepal in 2008.

HELP US!

In particular, we support the View Point Boarding School in Tutunga near Pokhara, a town with approximately 313.000 inhabitants, situated in the centre of Nepal, in the west of Kathmandu.

As is generally known, Nepal is among the poorest countries in the world. Here are some numbers:

• The illiteracy rate is about 50 %.

• 80 % of people with employment work in the agricultural sector.

• The infant mortality rate is about 10 %.

• Many children are forced to beg or do child labour.

• Approximately 20… girls are sold to India to work as prostitutes every year.

We can provide well-directed support with our donations and membership fees (which are also tax-deductible).
